Mirroring The Infinite

The method by which the one conversation is had often looks like a kind of mirroring. Our mirror neurology, so to speak, is activated by the question “Is this true?” when faced with any assertion of fact. We affirm things about ourselves and about the world unconsciously, as a habit of speech that actually reflect a far deeper set of assumptions which determine, according to manifestational principles, everything about the world we experience both inside and out. Imagine a world where conscious awareness of the things which we affirm about ourselves and the world are called out for what they are, which are stories and only stories. Stories are how the world is, in some sense, constructed. Stories can either serve to grease the wheels of being in this world, or they can serve the unconscious story of separation which is the habit of the mind’s operation. Let us remember, this is no fault of the mind. There is no fault in the world whatsoever. The mind is simply seeking finitude through the infinite. It can do this for a time. But that story of separation will, at some point in our linear experience of space and time, be discarded for the Unity of the Absolute. This unity is the nature of the thing which does the allowing and which is -itself- allowed, the thing which inherently understands itself to be infinite, and to which “belief” has no impact. The inert nature of belief relative to the true nature of the mind, the nature of the Heart in stillness, the soul, is that the Truth is allowed to express itself freely. We can simply ask the person in our company, “Is this true?”, and the soul will answer. Often the mind, playing small, starts to pile on reasons why the Truth is hard to know or hard to act with from a place of knowing. This is simply the mind doing it’s thing. What is true? Is your limitation true? Is your smallness true? Is your separation true? Is the division within you true? Are your insecurities true? Is your incompetence true? Is your inadequacy true? What is actually going on here? When you listen to that still, small voice of the Heart of Hearts within you, what do you feel? What moves within you? The only possible thing which cannot remain in the infinite space of the Heart and be felt through hearing that voice is separation. All experience is welcomed and is loved, but separation cannot stay.

When we hold up a mirror to one another and wait and watch for anything which is not truly Divine to rear its head, we are holding the most powerful space possible – the infinite space of our Sacred Hearts. Hold up this mirror to those in your life, however deep or shallow your connection, because that connection is deep and entire. In this way, holding up a mirror to the Other is holding up a mirror to the Self, because there are no others. There is One Heart and one experience unfolding. The mirror is possibly the very best tool we have to allow this better world our Heart’s know is possible. Holding up that mirror means holding someone accountable for their Divinity. Let us learn and grow to be deeply passionate about these conversations, the one conversation, had everywhere and at every opportunity. What better cause could there be?
